As part of our strategic initiative to expand the Genoxus Labs platform, we partnered with Amazon Web Services to release the Genoxus Annotation dataset through the AWS Open Data Program.

Genoxus Annotation is built upon ClinVar, a publicly accessible archive documenting relationships between human genetic variation and phenotypic outcomes, supported by clinical evidence. ClinVar encompasses germline and somatic variants of any size, type, or genomic location, and is widely used by leading healthcare researchers to assess the impact of genetic variation on human health.

Building on ClinVar's foundation, we enriched the dataset with additional bio-annotations and restructured it to significantly improve query performance, resulting in Genoxus Annotation. The dataset is designed for seamless integration with AWS Glue, enabling the creation of high-performance data tables that accelerate ML/AI applications in genomics research.

With Genoxus Annotation, Genoxus Labs is able to analyze large-scale genomic datasets and generate actionable, insightful reports on patient conditions—helping healthcare organizations worldwide accelerate the development of treatments for rare diseases.
